Office Manager, Biltmore/Arcadia office - Karen
Karen grew up in Farmington, New Mexico and has lived in Arizona since 1998. She lives with her husband and daughter in Mesa. She has experience working in general dentistry, oral surgery and periodontology but finds that she enjoys working in the orthodontic field the most. She has worked in the orthodontic field for 18 years.
Karen's favorite pastime is being at home with her family. Whether they are just hanging out at the pool or watching a movie, they really enjoy being together. Karen has a very strong love for birds and just about all animals. Her favorite color is purple, and she really loves eating Mexican food.
Office Manager, North Phoenix/Scottsdale Office - Pam
Pam is an Arizona native who currently resides in Cave Creek. She has been married to her husband Jeff for 40 years. She has two daughters – Amber and Tiffany – and two sons – Rob and Mario. She loves her four grandchildren Tatum, Nathan, Gavin, and Lexie.
Pam loves thunder and rain (probably because she doesn't get to see much of it in sunny Arizona!). She has worked in orthodontics for the last 18 years. She enjoys working with her daughter Amber in our practice. She loves vacations at Disneyland and in Montana. Her favorite type of movie is monster movies.
Chairside Assistant - Amber
Amber is an Arizona native and currently resides in Cave Creek. She has been married to her husband Mario for 14 years and they have two children – Tatum and Gavin. Amber has worked in the orthodontic field for 16 years.
Amber loves glitter, "bling" and anything sparkly (she is a fun person to pick out retainer colors with). She loves rain and stormy nights. She enjoys going boating on the lake, buying shoes, vacations at Disneyland and in Montana. She loves working with her mom, Pam, our North Phoenix/Scottsdale office manager. Her favorite color is pink.
Chairside Assistant - Shari
Shari grew up in Akron, Ohio. She has lived in Arizona for six years. She was adopted at 3 weeks old, making her the youngest of seven children in her family. Shari has worked in orthodontics for 12 years, but also has experience in general dentistry and oral surgery. She is quick to say, however, that orthodontics is her favorite.
Shari enjoys spending time with friends and family, as well as her boyfriend of 3 years. She also enjoys shopping, watching movies, and has always enjoyed hockey. She loves eating out on occasion, with Mexican and Italian being her cuisine of choice.
Chairside Assistant - Melanie
Melanie is native to Chicago, Illinois but was raised in Phoenix. She still has family in Chicago and enjoys visiting from time to time. Melanie graduated from The Bryman's School with academic honors and "perfect attendance" with a degree in dental assisting. She has worked in the orthodontic field for 10 years and loves working with children. She loves Scooby-doo and has a Scooby-doo uniform for every holiday of the year.
Melanie loves her cat – Ozzy. She faithfully returns home at lunchtime each day to check on him. Her favorite food is barbeque chicken pizza from Barro's. She loves seeing movies with her friends, shooting guns for target practice and her favorite color is charcoal.
