Invisalign® Treatment in Scottsdale and Phoenix, AZ

Invisalign treatment uses a series of removable clear aligners that gradually align teeth and improve the way they fit together. Each aligner will move your teeth about a quarter of one millimeter. This may not seem like much, but you would be surprised how quickly this movement adds up over time as you change to a new aligner every one to two weeks.

One of the biggest advantages to Invisalign is its convenience! The aligners can be removed to eat, brush, and floss. The trays are plastic and clear, so it more discreet that than traditional metal braces as well.

Is Invisalign treatment right for you?

The ideal Invisalign patient is someone who has mild alignment issues and needs minimal correction—perhaps someone who had previous orthodontic treatment but was not consistent in wearing a retainer. Invisalign can also treat some more complicated orthodontic problems depending on the needs of the case. Dr. Budd can tell you if you would be a good candidate for Invisalign during a free consultation at our Scottsdale or Phoenix orthodontic office, in which we evaluate your bite, alignment, and what your goals are for treatment.

Ensuring Treatment Success

Because Invisalign is removable, patients can also forget to wear their aligners. Following Dr. Budd’s instructions regarding the amount of time to wear your aligners is critical to successful treatment with Invisalign. Full-time aligner wear is ideally 22 hours per day. They should only be removed to eat, drink, brush, and floss.

Why choose Budd Orthodontics for Invisalign?

As an Invisalign Preferred Provider, Dr. Budd has treated hundreds of orthodontic cases each year and thousands of orthodontic cases during the last 15 years. He is experienced in traditional Invisalign, Invisalign for Teens, Invisalign Lite, and Invisalign Express.

Because Invisalign treatment is programmed with a computer simulation, some offices can fall into the temptation of just giving patients a large number of aligners and having them “self-monitor,” or delegating supervision of treatment to a staff member. Dr. Budd does not do this, as he feels it is important to monitor your progress of treatment to ensure the best possible outcome. Dr. Budd will see you at every visit to ensure your Invisalign treatment is progressing as planned.
